Iron County School District's Cedar High School is seeking an Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach. This position will remain open until filled.

The assistant helps conduct practices, teach game strategies and techniques, and motivates student athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport. Key duties include assessing players' skills, organizing practice time, coaching on rules and techniques, observing performances, assisting with game plans, ensuring safety and conduct, following injury

Qualifications

• Assists in assessing players' skills and assigns team positions.
• Develops regular practice schedules and organizes practice time.
• Coaches players on rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques.
• Observes players and informs Head Coach for improvements.
• Assists with game strategy based on team capabilities.
• Maintains pupil behavior and provides proper supervision of athletes.
• Follows injury procedures and athletic program rules.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and uniforms.
• Participates in banquets, awards, and assemblies.
• Distributes and maintains eligibility forms and related records.
• Models non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
