Qualifications

• Must have a Teacher’s Certificate or valid Substitute Certificate or Temporary (provisional) Teacher’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the sport with a full team in compliance with MSHSAA standards.
• Assist in implementing athletic standards as outlined in the MSHSAA Handbook and attend required sessions.
• Assist in the coordination of the program and the supervision of students at practices and contests.
• Help provide information for transportation, facilities, officials and game management.
• Organize and schedule practice sessions to develop student-athletes’ potential.
• Emphasize safety, training and injury management procedures.
• Maintain high standards of sportsmanship during practices and contests.
• Return school equipment per KCMSD Athletic Department Handbook.
• Pursue professional growth through clinics and publications.
