Job summary

Goddard Middle School in Kansas is seeking an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 school year. This role emphasizes teaching and modeling sportsmanship while building school pride and community involvement.

The coach will instruct student-athletes in game strategies, foster skill development, teamwork, and a positive educational experience. This is a supplemental contract position, open until filled.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification or the ability to obtain Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Rule 10 certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of the assigned sport or activity.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition.
• Provide a positive educational experience that fosters skill development, teamwork, and an appreciation for the sport.

Education

Teaching certification or ability to obtain KSHSAA Rule 10 certification
