Roosevelt High School in Weld RE-5J district invites applications for a High School Assistant Softball Coach to support a growing softball program and student-athlete development.
The role requires CHSAA-certified coaching, teaching assignment where applicable, and a commitment to safety, sportsmanship, and adherence to district and league rules. Salary follows the district Athletic Salary Schedule; experience-based compensation.
About Weld RE-5J
Weld RE 5J is a Rural District with seven schools serving approximately 3,800 students. In the district we have one state of the art newly built high school, one middle school (being remodeled), three elementary schools (two newly built/remodeled), and two charter schools; all schools are within a 15 minute drive of one another making for short distances to travel in the district. We are located just east of I-25 making an easy commute from many locations including Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins, Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park; all while still having a mountain view!

Terms:
This position does not qualify for benefits. Salary is based on experience and per our Athletic Salary Schedule Column II ($2,350 - $3,350).
The assistant coach in each sport assigned is directly responsible to the head coach of that sport. He/she should have a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Re-5J Board of Education and the athletic standards of Roosevelt High School. He/she should also be familiar with the rules and regulations of the League and the Colorado High School Activities Association.
