Slippery Rock University Main Campus seeks an Assistant Baseball Coach to support the head coach with program organization and supervision. The role emphasizes recruiting student-athletes committed to academic success and adherence to NCAA/PSAC rules.

The candidate will coach and teach instructional skills and team concepts, mentor student-athletes, and assist with scouting, budgeting, fundraising, and directing camps and clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Collegiate baseball coaching experience or two years HS coaching experience.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to perform well in an interview.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organization and supervision of the baseball program.

Position Summary Information

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; successful collegiate baseball coachingexperience or two years of High School baseball coachingexperience; working with diverse populations; and successfulperformance in an interview.

Preferred Qualifications

Pitching background and professional experience; Master’s Degree;preferably two years coaching experience at the collegiate level.Experience with the PSAC . Ability to show successful recruitingtrack record and experience.
