Pellissippi State Community College, part of the Tennessee Board of Regents, is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach and Athletics Facilities Manager to support the head coach and oversee athletic facilities on campus. You will coordinate baseball program operations, contribute to recruiting efforts, manage travel logistics, monitor student-athlete academics, and supervise game-day preparations and video analysis.
This full-time role also handles facilities maintenance and event support.

Pay Rate: $42,510-$52,200/per year. Pay will be determined based on related work experience above required. To be considered in determining pay, all related work experience must be listed on the application.

The overall purpose of this job is to assist the head baseball coach in all areas of running an NJCAA collegiate baseball program and maintain the athletic facilities of the college.
60% Baseball Program Management
40% Athletics Grounds/Facilities Management
Part-time work experience is calculated at 50% credit of full-time work experience.

The Assistant Baseball Coach and Athletic Facilities Manager may work in various locations including the gymnasium, weight room, and outdoors. The Assistant Baseball Coach is required to perform work of an active nature, moving around locations requiring sufficient physical stamina to carry out duties. Requires ambulatory ability to lift medium-to-heavy weight materials, balance, and walk and stand for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity to observe moving objects and recognize physical injuries. Requires auditory ability to project voice to a small group. Lift and move light to moderately heavy (less than 50 pounds) objects.
The Assistant Baseball Coach and Athletic Facilities Manager is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions (cold, wet and humid) and/hot or humid gymnasium environment(s). The employee may be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
