Concordia University Chicago is seeking an Assistant Coach for the NCAA Division III baseball program. You will assist the Head Coach in developing players, planning practices, and promoting competitive performance.
You will recruit and retain student-athletes with support from admissions, mentor players, and manage equipment and facilities to support a successful program. Prior collegiate coaching experience is preferred and interest in Lutheran higher education values is welcomed.
The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the development and maintenance of an effective and competitive NCAA Division III Baseball program at Concordia University Chicago. Teaching will include instruction of the skills and strategies necessary for the student-athlete to become competitive and successful in this sport. The recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes in this program will be integral to this position. The Assistant Coach is expected to teach and demonstrate the ability to promote the physical, intellectual, and social growth of student-athletes. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for assisting the Head Coach in their assigned responsibilities and in the direction of all aspects of their assigned sport program.
