Flagship Culinary Services is seeking an Assistant Barista Manager to support employee cafés for our client, the largest social media company in the world. This role oversees Barista teams across multiple cafes, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff coaching, and smooth daily operations with a focus on work-life balance and weekends off.

Essential functions include managing scheduling, training programs, vendor communications, and creating operational checklists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or café environment.
• 1+ year of supervisory or lead experience in food service preferred.
• Managers must have and maintain an active Food Handler Card (CA) as required by local health department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Barista teams, including shift scheduling and performance reviews.
• Create and execute a daily manager’s report on staff issues, inventory, and training needs.
• Hire barista staff with recruiters to grow teams.

Provide the best assistance in a courteous, fast and efficient manner, and accommodate all requests and special needs for guests and Clients* **Manage:** oversee Barista teams, including shift scheduling, performance reviews, investigations and terminations. Coordinate and assign work duties for your team, handle employee relation issues and work with HR to solve and address instances when necessary* **Hire:** work with staffing recruiter to select and hire appropriate Barista staff to grow your teams* **Report:** create operational checklists to monitor workflow and manage employee expectations.
