Nothing Bundt Cakes in Sterling, VA is seeking an Assistant Baker to join our team. You will support the Baker to ensure that our cakes of the highest quality are consistently prepared for guests and to help meet production demands.

You will follow proprietary recipes, operate mixers and ovens, prepare ingredients, monitor baking, and maintain clean, organized stations. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a passion for fresh-baked treats.

Responsibilities

Follow NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
Assists baker with preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking; places cake pans into a hot oven and monitors the baking process.
Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes.
Adheres to proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and assists baker to ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
Complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and personal hygiene.
Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
