Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager to support the Service Center Manager in overseeing technicians and the automotive service team. You will resolve customer issues and provide technical assistance to service staff.

The role requires supervisory experience, valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain ASE certifications within one year. Evening and weekend work is expected in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication skills.
Prior Automotive Maintenance experience preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Prior Retail experience preferred.
Able to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
Willing to attain ASE certifications (A4/A5/A6) within one year of hire.
Must possess or obtain forklift certification.
Ability to read/speak English and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Michigan Stores Only: ASE A4/A6 for Tech Level II and A3/A4/A5/A6 for Tech Level III or equivalent Michigan certifications.

Responsibilities

Assist Service Center Manager in overseeing Service Technicians and Automotive Service Center.
Resolve customer issues and provide technical assistance to staff.
Supervise Service Center associates.
Perform Technician responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrate adherence to Loss Prevention and safety policies.
