The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers. The Hospital Medicine Service in the Division of Supportive and Acute Care Services, Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time nocturnist faculty member at the Assistant Attending level. We are a team of over 45 faculty (including both day hospitalists and nocturnists) with a focus on internal medicine and oncology. The majority of our faculty are internal medicine trained/boarded; no specific training in medical oncology is required. Our available nocturnist positions are primarily focused on overnight coverage of the inpatient medicine service at Memorial Hospital.

Requirements

  • Strong palliative medicine skills are a plus (subspecialty training not required)
  • Eligibility for licensure in New York State

Salary Range: $300,000 – $450,000 Pay Range: $0.00 - $10,000,000.00 FSLA Status: Exempt
