Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Assistant Attending in the Integrative Medicine & Wellness Service to advance research and patient care in integrative medicine. The role focuses on symptom science, exercise oncology, and developing clinical guidelines within cancer care.

Ideal candidates have completed an ACGME-accredited residency, possess superb clinical and interpersonal skills, and are eligible for NY/NJ licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACGME-accredited residency program.
• Superb clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Rigorous clinical or health services research training.
• Board certification or board eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine.
• Eligibility for licensure in New York and New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Pioneer research in symptom science, exercise oncology, and care delivery.
• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines that have helped establish integrative medicine as a standard component of cancer care.
• Work with individual patients to develop appropriate plans that include lifestyle modifications, non-pharmacological interventions, as well as herbs and supplements when appropriate.
