Job summary

Frostburg State University (FSU) Athletics is hiring two full-time exempt Assistant Athletic Trainers. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a robust benefits package. This role supports 25 varsity sports and operates from a modern training facility, including an underwater treadmill.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree, NATABOC certification, and Maryland AT licensure, plus CPR/AED. Preferred: 1 year experience and familiarity with contact sports.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for employment consideration.
• Ability to obtain NATABOC certification and Maryland Athletic Training licensure as a condition of employment.
• CPR/AED Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical care and rehabilitation of FSU student-athletes under Head Athletic Trainer and Team Physician supervision.
• Assist with administrative duties and supervise Athletic Training room operations and services.
• May serve as a preceptor for athletic training students.
• May be required to serve as instructor depending on institutional needs and workload.
• Other duties as assigned.
