The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University ofMaryland School of Medicine ranked among the top 5 in NIH researchfunding . We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist atthe Assistant/ Associate Professor level ( non-tenuretrack ) to join our dynamic team and serve in our vibrant academicbased practice at the University of Maryland Medical Center inBaltimore.
The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based onfaculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not includeall components of the Radiation Oncology faculty compensationprogram or pay from participation in Radiation Oncology variablecompensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range statedherein.
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximumsalaries for this position and is based on the University ofMaryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time ofposting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end ofthe salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selectedcandidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors,which may include the successful candidate's geographic location,skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions,education/training, and other factors, as reasonably determined bythe University.

The Department of Radiation Oncology offers exceptionalpatient care across eight locations, including the University ofMaryland Medical Center and the Maryland Proton Treatment Center.Our department's clinical program includes 14 linearaccelerators, a research linear accelerator, 6 multi-slice CTsimulators, a proton therapy center, and GammaPod, alongside avariety of advanced treatments such as SRS/SBRT,radiopharmaceuticals, and hyperthermia therapy.
