A dental school in Missouri is seeking a full-time prosthodontist to join as clinical faculty. You will develop prosthodontic curriculum, mentor students, and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care. Ideal candidates must hold a D.D.S./D.M.D. and have completed an accredited Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. Board certification or eligibility in Prosthodontics and a current Missouri dental license are required. A $25,000 signing bonus and relocation assistance are offered.

## Job Type:Faculty## Job Description:***$25,000 Signing Bonus plus Relocation Assistance***Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine seeks a prosthodontist as full-time, clinical faculty for our dental school in Joplin, Missouri. The faculty member will be responsible for the didactic, pre-clinical and clinical prosthodontic protocols and procedures, integrating evidence-based best practices with clinical patient care as well as guiding current research and scholarly activity in prosthodontic therapy. The prosthodontic faculty member will collaborate with, and educate the dental Group Practice Leaders, Assistant Group Practice Leaders, simulation faculty, and clinical faculty in the current science of prosthodontics for patient care.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Candidates must demonstrate a passion for dentistry and the application of prosthodontic therapy didactic principles to preclinical and clinical patient care, a strong desire to teach students in a demanding, fast-paced, academic environment* Develop goals, objectives and policies for the prosthodontic dental education program within the KCU College of Dental Medicine* Implement and deliver the prosthodontic didactic curriculum including pre-clinical materials, simulation and laboratory exercises* Integrate evidence-based best practices with clinical patient care and guide current research and scholarly activity in prosthodontic therapy* Assure the safe and effective delivery of prosthodontic dental care by the dental students* Deliver clinical prosthodontic treatment for patients as needed in the Oral Health Center* Serve as an advisor, coach and/or mentor to dental students expressing a desire for advanced education in prosthodontics* Mentor dental student research in the area of prosthodontics when applicable* Serve as faculty advisor for community-based activities in the realm of prosthodontics* Conduct summative and formative pre-clinical and clinical student assessment in prosthodontic therapy* Perform other duties as assigned by supervising faculty or Dean**Qualifications:*** D.D.S./D.M.D. degree* Certificate of completion of a CODA accredited Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics* Current Missouri dental license or have an active dental license in a US state or Canada and be eligible for licensure in Missouri* Must be board-certified or board-eligible in ProsthodonticsJoin us in changing healthcare for good!
