Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science

Employment Type: Full time, Faculty, Exempt

Reports To: The Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Science will report to the Chair of the Computer Science Department.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach multiple computer science courses, primarily in cybersecurity, as well as operating systems, assembly language, Java programming, UNIX system administration, and general computer science.
  2. Conduct research.
  3. Provide service to multiple entities within the university, community, and profession.
  4. Teach day, evening, undergraduate, graduate, and online classes as a tenure track faculty member.

Computer Science is a signature program at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. We also offer certificates in Cyber Security, Data Science, Mobile Development, UNIX System Administration, and World Wide Web Publishing, as well as Master’s degrees in Computer and Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and IT Management.
