Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication or related field is required.

• Ability to teach across multiple Communication areas including theory, visual communication, design, strategic communication, business communication, digital media, and related subjects.
• Curriculum design experience.
• Active program of research or scholarly activity in communication or a related field.
• Industry experience in communication or related fields.
• Upholds and supports the Catholic mission of the University of Mary.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in General Communication, Strategic Communication, and/or Media Production within the Communication Major.
• Offer courses across Communication Theory, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Strategic Communication, Business Communication, Photography, Audio Production, Podcasting, Broadcasting, Law & Ethics, or Digital Marketing.
• Teach COM 110 and other core or major curriculum courses.
• Advise and mentor Communication students.
• Support the Catholic, Benedictine mission in teaching, advising, research, and service.
