Position Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Peoria campus of the University of Illinois College of Medicine seeks General OB/GYN physicians for full-time or part-time positions providing comprehensive health care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Actively participate in the teaching of residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
  • Engage in scholarly activities.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to teach residents and medical students.
  • Experience or interest in research and academic leadership preferred.

The budgeted salaryrange for the position is $350,000 to $400,000 per year.

Salary iscompetitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while alsoconsidering internal equity.
