The Department of Health Behavior at UNC invites applications for 1-2 tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor positions. We seek innovative scholars whose research advances understanding of health behavior, broadly defined. This includes expanding the science of behavioral, social, and structural determinants of health and interventions to improve population well‑being. We are particularly interested in applicants whose work extends our current research strengths or introduces complementary new directions. Candidates whose research incorporates or critically examines the use of artificial intelligence in public health are especially encouraged to apply.
A PhD or equivalent within the area of health behavior is preferred, although candidates with a PhD in a relevant discipline will be considered.
