The Julius L. Chambers Biomedical/Biotechnology Research Institute (BBRI) is a state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. research facility dedicated to expanding research capacity in biomedical and biotechnology fields. BBRI conducts multidisciplinary research focusing on health issues affecting minority and underserved groups, providing research experiences for students.
This tenure-track faculty position (Assistant or Associate level) in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Department (BBSD) involves establishing an extramurally funded research program, teaching core and elective courses, and participating in service activities. Research areas include neuroscience, cancer biology, microbiology, and nutritional science.
Doctoral degree in biological sciences or related field, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
