The individual is expected to develop a comprehensive beef research and Extension program in the successful candidate’s area(s) of expertise, but emphasis will be placed on the ability to develop an internationally recognized Extension and research program. This faculty member will be expected to supervise graduate students and interns.

To be eligible for tenure on appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrably national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
