We are seeking an academic solid organ transplant surgeon with training in liver, pancreas, and kidney transplantation. Applicants must have completed an ASTS‑approved fellowship by August 2026 and display excellent clinical skills in transplantation, including significant experience in living‑donor liver transplantation and laparoscopic/robotic kidney donor procedures. The ideal candidate will also have experience in innovative areas such as robotic platform use for liver and kidney surgery, transplant oncology, xenotransplantation, and/or proficiency with liver perfusion devices and normothermic regional perfusion.
The role supports a career in health services research, translational research, or basic research, with up to 20% protected time for research. The successful candidate is expected to pursue independent research funding and to play an active role in education of surgery residents and medical students, contributing to the department’s residency training and educational programs.
Minimum base salary range: $154,700 – $405,900, based on rank and step at appointment. The position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation.
