  • Position Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) alongside IU Health Medical Group (IUHMG) is expanding its team. The department seeks to recruit an academic anatomic pathologist with subspecialty expertise in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology to join its faculty. Additional combinations of Bone and Soft Tissue and other subspecialty areas based on clinical need are welcome. The Pathology team serves over 10 hospitals within the IU Health Hospital network and Eskenazi Health. Anatomic pathology is currently comprised of 55 pathologists. The academic track and rank of the appointment will be determined by qualifications and level of experience.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Deliver professional diagnostic services within anatomic pathology.
    • Provide on‑call coverage and conference support with department faculty members.
    • Actively participate in educational activities with medical students, residents, and fellows, including a bone/soft tissue pathology fellowship program.
