High Point University seeks applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Department of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy at High Point University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month promotion path (non-tenure track) faculty position. The principal responsibilities of this role include teaching PharmD students, contributing to scholarship, and providing service to the school, university, and the broader High Point community. Upon program maturity, the estimated distribution of effort will be 60–80% teaching, 10–30% service, and 10–15% scholarship. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
Applicants with areas of expertise or interest within pharmaceutical sciences are welcome to apply. Candidates with experience in drug development areas such as Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology, pharmaceutics, manufacturing, compounding, or pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics are especially encouraged.
