The Center for Regenerative Medicine (CRM) at the University of South Florida, led by Dr. Da-Zhi Wang, invites applications for tenured or tenure-track positions at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We seek investigators focused on cardiovascular biology and medicine, including but not limited to heart development, cardiac regeneration, cardiovascular disease, genetics and genomics, stem cell and tissue engineering, and gene therapy.
Qualified candidates should have established, or show potential to establish, a nationally recognized, competitively funded research program. Successful applicants will receive institutional salary support commensurate with experience and highly competitive start-up packages. Depending on qualifications, the home department may be Molecular Pharmacology & Physiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Biomedical Engineering, or other relevant departments at USF.
The CRM is part of the USF Health Heart Institute, collaborating across various USF colleges, including Engineering, Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and the Moffitt Cancer Center. The center is situated in a new, state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced clinical and laboratory spaces, core facilities, and a vivarium for small animal husbandry and zebrafish research.
