Lazer Logistics is seeking an Assistant Area Manager to support the Field Operations team across a portfolio of 24/7 customer sites in the Chicago region.

You will own site-level performance, safety compliance, and the development of site personnel through the full employee lifecycle, while coordinating resources and logistics.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, strong communication with customers and vendors, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Summary

The Assistant Area Manager is a member of the Field Operations team, supporting the Area Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations across an assigned portion of 24/7 customer sites within a geographic region. This role owns site-level performance management, safety compliance, and resource coordination while supervising and developing site personnel through the full employee lifecycle. The role partners closely with customers and vendors to ensure consistent service delivery. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who is safety-minded, adaptable, and skilled at developing frontline teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Job Description

Operational Excellence

Oversee day-to-day operations across an assigned portion of 24/7 customer sites, with a focus on safety and service levels. People Development

Pay Range: 73000.00-74000.00 per_year
