Job summary

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an Assistant Administrator to join our leadership team. The role supports daily facility operations, regulatory compliance, and initiatives to enhance resident care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualified candidates will have a healthcare administration background, leadership experience in a long-term care setting, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
• Administrator-in-Training (AIT) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Administrator with daily operations of the facility.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure operational excellence and quality resident care.
• Monitor KPIs and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
• Help oversee staffing, budgeting, customer service, and employee engagement.
• Participate in survey readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Foster a positive, professional, team-oriented culture.
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
