Job summary

HUB International in East Longmeadow, MA is seeking an Assistant Account Manager for our Personal Lines team on a Hybrid schedule. You will quote, renew, and remarket personal lines policies while coordinating servicing under supervision of an Account Manager.

The role requires knowledge of personal lines markets, experience with agency management systems, and MA producer licensing or willingness to obtain it within six months. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing personal accounts within an insurance agency.
• Thorough knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets.
• Experience with an automated agency management system.
• Active Massachusetts Producer license or ability to obtain license within six months of start date.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills; team oriented.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Negligible travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for new, renewal and remarketing personal lines policies and coordinate handling of accounts under the direction of an Account Manager.
• Enter data as required by insurance company automation systems.
• Provide support to the Account Manager on pre-renewal processes.
• Handle correspondence and clerical processing of accounts including applications, transactional file maintenance and agency management system input of each account.
• Responsible for creating renewal transmittal letters and invoicing.
• Responsible for developing familiarity with all forms and paperwork and their purpose.
• Implement a quality control review process to assure production of quality work and excellent customer service.
• Conduct business with understanding of the Company's business and earnings implications.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

The expected salary range for this position is $20.44/hr to $24.36/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
