Job summary

Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is seeking a Clinical Leader Intern to gain hands-on ABA experience while preparing for future leadership. You will work under Clinical Leaders, delivering 1:1 ABA services across home, school, and community settings, and help implement treatment plans aligned with physician guidance.

The role emphasizes mentorship, structured growth, and exposure to leadership activities as you advance toward clinical leadership and BCBA pathways.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed disciplines or closely related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience implementing behavior modification, or 1+ year and 12 sem. units in ABA, or BCaBA credential.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to complete training, documentation, and physical requirements.
  • Proof of vaccinations (CA mandated)
  • Comfort working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Client Support: provide 1:1 ABA services using play-based, evidence-based strategies.
  • Follow individualized treatment plans designed by Clinical Leaders.
  • Support skill development in communication, socialization, and daily living skills.
  • Deliver services in homes, schools, centers, and community settings.
  • Carry a limited caseload with added responsibility, under supervision.
  • Participate in joint sessions, shadowing, and in-field coaching.
  • Assist with documentation review, session preparation, and treatment fidelity.
  • Support parent education conversations with Clinical Leaders.
  • Collaborate with Training and Operations teams as part of learning experience.

Your First Step Into Clinical Leadership in ABA This isn’t just an entry-level role - and it’s not quite a full supervisory position either. It’s a hands‑on internship designed for future Clinical Leaders. At CSD, Clinical Leader Intern supports the design and delivery of evidence-based behavioral health services for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or related developmental disabilities. Working under the supervision of a licensed or credentialed Clinical Leader, this role assists in implementing treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations across home, school, and other natural settings. Starting Pay: $29 - 32 per hour, based on experience

About You

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines, or a closely related field: Psychology, Child Development, Childhood Education, Special Education, or Pediatric Therapy (Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy)
  • One of the following experience pathways: 2+ years of related professional experience implementing behavior modification intervention services, or 1+ year of related professional experience implementing behavior modification intervention services and 12 semester units in Applied Behavior Analysis, or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to complete training, documentation, and physical requirements of the role
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, COVID - CA mandated)
  • Comfort working with diverse populations
