Job summary

Cat5 Resources in Beaumont, TX is seeking an Asset Technician to manage, maintain, and organize assets at the Patillo yard and other sites. You will track tools, equipment, and materials, perform routine inspections, and support inventory accuracy.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to operate yard equipment, and a willingness to work outside hours during disaster responses. Travel to other facilities and a clean driving record are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or better.
• Experience in asset management, warehouse, or yard operations is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Track, organize, and maintain company assets in yards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and update asset records.
• Perform basic inspections and minor repairs on owned equipment.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and staging equipment and materials for projects or deliveries.
• Follow safety policies and ensure proper handling and storage of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of asset movement, maintenance, and usage logs.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure assets are available when needed.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe to promote a productive work environment.
