You will perform reconciliations, manage entitlements, and interact with desks and clients to ensure accurate and timely post-processing. The role requires a BS/BA degree, solid Excel/Outlook skills, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

• Identify and manage risks; escalate issues to management.
• Research and resolve open balances; coordinate with desks and counterparties on liabilities.
• Manage email correspondence; ensure timely responses and resolution of queries.
• Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders and clients.
• Identify improvement opportunities; perform UAT and implement changes group-wide.
• Assist with training new staff across systems, markets, and products.

Asset Servicing is a Markets Operations group represented globally across the NAM, EMEA and APAC regions and is responsible for processing Corporate Actions and Income events for Firm and Client positions. The events and transactions managed include election instructions, reconciliation, and entitlement postings for Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Actions, Dividends and Income, Proxy, and Conversion events in the Market.Our team provides direct support to Prime Brokerage, Firm trading desks, Stock Lending, Repo, and SWAPS for both Equity and Fixed Income.

The Asset Serv Intmd Assoc Analyst is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices; demonstrates good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Voluntary & Choice Corporate Action events for US, Canadian, and Latin American securities
• Process ad-hoc instructions for conversions, SPAC Splits, warrants, exchanges, DRS, and legend removals
• Perform key reconciliations and controls to support processing of the corporate action lifecycle and break management
• Ensure timely handling of notifications, elections, entitlement calculations, and follow through with the applicable outturn bookings
• Identify and manage any risk within the event /process and manage events in various Asset Servicing systems; escalating issues to management
• Research and resolve open balances connected to the process including coordinating with our relevant desks and counterparties on liabilities or issues
• Manage any email correspondence related to the process, ensure timely responses and proper resolution of open queries
• Develop effective working relationships with both internal and external parties as a result of direct interaction with external Clients, Counterparty's, Traders, and Client Executives
• Identify process improvements/breakdowns/control gaps, propose solutions, perform UAT testing, and work with the management/project team to implement across the group
• Assist with training new staff across multiple internal/external systems, markets, and products

Qualifications and Skills:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Possess a basic knowledge of Corporate Actions, and Equity and Fixed Income products, including the trade lifecycle.
• Understanding of Stock Record; long/shorts, and various position types including stock lending positions; understanding of Swift messages
• Advanced experience level with Excel, Outlook, and experience with web-based applications required
• Proven record of accuracy and effective time management and prioritization skills with the ability to work in multiple systems and handle high email and event volumes
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, with conflicting demands and under tight deadlines
• Self-reliant, energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive problem solver
• Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise.
• Strong risk management and control mind-set; understanding of the critical risks and necessary controls related to financial operations/transaction processing
