Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to deter theft and protect people, property and assets in the store environment. You will support safety and environmental program compliance and execute AP strategies in partnership with store leadership.

You will detain and interview individuals per policy, use CCTV and EAS systems, and create detailed reports. A valid vehicle is required to cover the market area and support multiple stores in the region.

Qualifications

• Ability to deter theft and fraud through surveillance, reporting and investigations.
• Strong communication with store teams and management.
• Ability to detain and interview suspects as per local laws and procedures.
• Familiarity with CCTV, EAS systems and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prevent financial loss by deterring theft and fraud.
• Conduct investigations in collaboration with AP leadership.
• Maintain relationships with store management and associates to address AP issues.
• Document apprehensions, recoveries and evidence; coordinate with law enforcement.
