Job summary

Super One Foods is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist for multiple Minnesota locations. The role focuses on protecting store assets, staff, and customers through floor observation, CCTV surveillance, and investigative controls.

You will work with store leadership to enforce policies on shoplifting, receiving, and de-escalation. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in loss prevention or security, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain required asset protection certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 3 years in retail loss prevention, asset protection, customer service, or security operations preferred.
• Ability to obtain asset protection certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activity to identify suspicious behavior and prevent theft.
• Supervise store security, identify vulnerabilities and high-risk areas.
• Conduct live and recorded CCTV surveillance and preserve evidence.
• Perform shoplifting apprehensions in compliance with laws and policies.
• Coordinate with store leadership on loss prevention observations.
• Oversee receiving procedures and backroom stock to prevent transit loss.
• Conduct regular safety audits and report hazards to management.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain case files.
