Ocean State Job Lot in North Kingstown, RI is seeking an Asset Protection Associate (Corp/DC) to safeguard company personnel, visitors, facilities, and assets across corporate offices, distribution centers, and store locations. You will implement security protocols, monitor operations, and help mitigate risk while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 1+ year in asset protection or guard shack, proficiency with Google tools, and the ability to read and follow documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in asset protection or guard shack.
• Proficient with Google Slides, Docs, Drive, Sheets, Sites.
• Able to read and follow written instructions and reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• C-TPAT certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Validate trucks at freight yard entrance per C-TPAT procedures.
• Cross-match shipment docs and seals; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor CCTV and report incidents.
• Serve as central contact for asset protection and safety concerns.
• Log tractors and trailers in internal systems.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies at DC and offices.
• Document safety incidents per policy.
• Ensure compliance with OSJL policies and regulations (C-TPAT, OSHA, DOT).
• Uphold best practices to keep the asset protection team accountable.
