Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes.
• Provide credible court testimony.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short, and civil liabilities.
• Detect and deter theft; detain external theft suspects when appropriate.
• Report incidents to the asset protection manager.
• Support customer and associate relations through training and communication.
• Promote and follow company initiatives and policies.
• Monitor large shrink areas in stores and maintain security across locations.
• Provide credible court testimony when required.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Position Summary

Prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities; reduce shrink and improve margins. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. • Minimum 18 years of age/21 years of age in Alaska
