Job summary

Casey’s Distribution Center in Joplin, MO, seeks an Asset Protection Team Member to safeguard the facility, protect inventory, and support loss prevention efforts. You’ll be the first line of defense, monitor access, and promote a secure work environment while collaborating with the Asset Protection Specialist.

The role emphasizes safety inspections, incident reporting, and maintaining records, with Monday–Friday 3pm–11:30pm shifts and competitive benefits from a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of public safety and security strategies to promote effective, secure operations.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with problems that arise in safeguarding building and grounds and the procedures used in dealing with them.
• Will be required to attend ongoing de-escalation and intervention training to maintain skill and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of defense for facility security by monitoring guard shack operations, controlling truck lot access, and conducting patrols.
• Champion workplace safety by identifying hazards, conducting inspections, supporting compliance efforts.
• Investigate incidents involving theft, loss, damage, or policy violations with Asset Protection Specialist support.
• Assist inventory accuracy through audits and collaboration with Inventory Specialists.
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and asset protection activities.
• Respond to potential issues and identify opportunities to strengthen security and loss prevention processes.
