Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports profitability of our retail operations by administering loss prevention programs, deterring theft, and conducting investigations.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail security/loss prevention preferred.
• Must successfully pass GCNA position certification processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security systems and CCTV operations.

Responsibilities

• Protects company assets by executing external theft program elements.
• Accurately builds and records external theft cases using case management software.
• Proactively conducts external theft investigations using reports, tips, and CCTV review.
• Reviews case management records for completion and accuracy.
• Conducts surveillance on company property including buildings, donations, merchandise, vehicles.
• Participates in investigations and closure of internal cases as needed.
• Works with leadership and law enforcement to minimize loss and ensure compliance.
• Communicates effectively to facilitate prosecution and restitution proceedings.
