Job summary

PTi seeks a Property Book Technician to serve as a technical expert and liaison to facility coordinators, overseeing DoD property and accountability. You will conduct inventories, maintain hand receipts, and ensure equipment is used properly to prevent loss or damage.

Responsibilities include reporting losses, supporting inspections and calibration, and utilizing GCSS-A. Forklift operation (up to 6,000 lbs) is required, with up to 20% travel and OSHA safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience with supply management and inventory management
  • Familiar with Army DoD automated systems and related admin tasks
  • Able to read/write English and perform basic math

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control property within own areas of responsibility
  • Designated SHRH and maintain hand receipts
  • Protect equipment from loss, theft, or damage
  • Ensure equipment is used properly to prevent damage
  • Perform annual inventories and utilization reviews
  • Report excess equipment within 30 days
  • Maintain inspections, maintenance and calibration records
  • Use GCSS-A to support property accountability
  • Operate forklifts up to 6000 lbs as needed (up to 5% of time)
  • Support process improvements and compliance with safety rules
