Job summary

PNC is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee portfolios and borrower requests within its Midland footprint. You will analyze financials, review loan documents, and collaborate with Special Servicers to manage risk and ensure timely processing of requests.

The role requires a finance-related degree and relevant experience with CRE debt, CMBS, or securitized portfolios. Strong communication and diligence are essential for success in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees portfolios and/or Borrower requests of routine to medium complexity for securitized CMBS, Agency, SASB, SFR or other portfolios comprised of loans secured by income producing commercial real estate.
  • Analyze various financial reports, including property operating statements, loan guarantor financials, loan level covenants, and market economic data.
  • Evaluates credit risk and proposes risk mitigants using a working knowledge of commercial real estate and real estate markets.
  • Prepares and presents formal recommendations for approval per delegations of authority.
  • Engages in frequent verbal and written communication with external parties including borrowers, counsel, rating agencies, and investors.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to assist cross-departmental decision making.

As an Asset Manager within PNC's Midland organization, you will be based within the PNC Midland footprint.

As an Asset Manager, you will have a range of responsibilities including:

  • Responsible for forwarding all required documentation and key loan details to the designated Special Servicer to initiate the review and processing of a borrower request.
  • Collaborate closely with Special Servicers to provide context, share due diligence materials, and ensure a consistent understanding of the loan’s status and risks.
  • Monitor assigned mailboxes for each Special Servicer.
  • Responsible for timely updating comments on each referred matters task.
  • Tracking and following up on all outstanding referred requests.
  • Review, image and disseminate Special Servicer’s completed consent packages and circulate to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Ensure completion of tasks related to a conditional approval from a Special Servicer.
  • Process relevant fees and disbursements.

Job Description

  • Analyze various financial reports, including property operating statements, loan guarantor financials, loan level covenants, and market economic data. Review and interpret complex loan document and servicing agreement provisions.
  • Evaluates credit risk and proposes risk mitigants using a working knowledge of commercial real estate, industry terminology and real estate capital markets while adhering to established procedures.
  • Prepares and presents formal recommendations for approval in accordance with applicable delegations of authority.
  • Engages in frequent verbal and written communication with external parties which may include borrowers and their representatives, internal and external legal counsel, rating agencies, special servicers, and investors.
  • Collaborates effectively with internal business partners and leverages commercial real estate expertise to assist with cross-departmental decision making.
