Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Associate, Asset Management for an industrial real estate portfolio. The role blends asset management, investments and operations with direct exposure to portfolio-level decision making and value creation initiatives across a diversified industrial portfolio.

The Associate will support business plans, budgeting, forecasting and market analysis, aiming to increase NOI through revenue enhancements, lease optimization and cost controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of asset management, acquisitions, investments, valuation, financial analysis, or commercial real estate.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and valuation capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with execution of business plans for assigned industrial assets, tracking performance against underwriting assumptions and operational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain property-level asset management plans, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and market analysis.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to increase Net Operating Income through revenue enhancement, lease optimisation, expense management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Review financial statements, operating reports, budgets, and variance analyses to monitor asset performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for senior leadership, investors, and lending partners.
  • Support acquisition due diligence, business plan underwriting, refinancing activities, and disposition analyses.
  • Conduct market research on rents, occupancy trends, supply pipelines, tenant demand, and broader economic drivers impacting industrial real estate.

Description

The Associate, Asset Management will support the execution of strategic business plans across an institutional-quality industrial portfolio and report directly into the Asset Management team.

Profile

For the Associate, Asset Management - Industrial Real Estate, we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management, acquisitions, investments, valuation, financial analysis, or commercial real estate.
  • Prior exposure to industrial, logistics, distribution, warehouse, or commercial real estate assets preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and valuation capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and real estate analysis tools.
  • Understanding of real estate operating fundamentals, lease structures, capital expenditures, and investment performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial investment environment.
