Job summary

Colliers International in Dallas, TX is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee all administrative, financial, and operational duties for a diverse loan servicing portfolio, including performing and non-performing multifamily loans in Fannie Mae and HUD programs.

You will handle borrower requests, ensure timely reporting, and coordinate with accounting for cash transfers and reserve accounts, while maintaining risk ratings and compliance with lender guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial or multifamily mortgage servicing experience.
  • HUD/FHA, Fannie Mae DUS or Freddie Mac Optigo loan servicing experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task.

This portfolio will include both performing and non-performing multifamily loans within our Fannie Mae and HUD portfolios.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**•Responsible for performing all borrower request functions of the assigned loan servicing portfolio, including assumptions, easements, partial releases, insurance losses, loan payoff, maturity management, & other loan events•Responsible for strong customer service via prompt, professional communication with borrowers, lenders, investors, and co-workers•Maintain and Update Monthly / Periodic reporting for assigned loans•Create, document, and follow up on action plans for troubled assets•Communicate with senior mgmt. regarding remediation strategies and associated progress for troubled assets•Interacts with accounting department for the transfer of cash, processing reserve disbursements, and the maintenance of reserve and other escrow accounts•Accurately and efficiently producing required analyses of operating statements and related financial statements of commercial or multifamily properties, including identifying and researching variances, normalizing and otherwise adjusting the statements, per lender requirements•Perform (or review third-party) property inspections to verify sufficient maintenance of collateral, identify and report life safety issues, and other items of deferred maintenance•Maintain a live risk rating for all projects within the assigned portfolio, inclusive of Watch List deals, and identifying/documenting project issues, trends and opportunities•Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and lender servicing guides/agreements•Other duties as assigned**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**•3+ years of commercial or multifamily mortgage servicing experience required•Proficient knowledge of multifamily mortgage banking, loan servicing, financial statement analysis required•HUD/FHA, Fannie Mae DUS or Freddie Mac Optigo loan servicing experience required•Strong verbal and written communication skills•Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task•Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, advanced financial and data manipulation functions in Microsoft Excel preferred•Ability to work independently as well as in a team•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required•Excellent customer service skills**JOB EXPECTATIONS**•Regular and reliable attendance required•Occasional domestic travel required**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY**This position has no supervisory responsibility**TRAVEL**Occasional domestic travel required.**JOB EXPECTATIONS**This is a full-time position in office five days a week.
