Careers At Absolute Business Solutions Corp

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is not just another technology company. We are a community of innovators, engineers, analysts, and business professionals working alongside our customers to address some of the nation’s most complex security challenges. For more than 20 years, we have supported critical Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and federal civilian missions, as well as global, multinational organizations. We specialize in Intelligence, Technology, Defense, AI/ML, and Data Science—and as we continue to grow, we are looking for exceptional professionals to join our team.

ABSC is seeking an Asset Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) Information Technology Services (ITS2) program. AFNCR ITS2 delivers secure, resilient technology services supporting Air Force operations across the National Capital Region, including the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews, and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.

In this role, you will directly support senior defense organizations and mission partners operating within the National Military Command Center (NMCC). You will independently manage the complete lifecycle of more than 8,000 critical IT assets, ensuring accurate accountability, secure handling, and operational readiness in one of the nation’s most secure facilities.

This is a highly visible position in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, sound judgment, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently while adhering to stringent security requirements.

Work Location and Schedule:

This is a day-shift, full-time onsite position at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Limited ad hoc telework may be available only when authorized by the client and mission requirements permit.

Security Clearance Required:

An active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) is required.

Responsibilities:

The Asset Manager will:

  • Independently maintain accurate lifecycle records for more than 8,000 IT assets using Microsoft Excel and enterprise asset-management systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Manage stockroom operations, including receiving, inspecting, organizing, asset tagging, securely storing, issuing, transferring, and disposing of IT equipment.
  • Perform extensive manual inventory tracking and data entry because handheld scanners are prohibited within the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
  • Conduct recurring, in-person physical inventories and reconcile records to maintain complete and accurate asset accountability.
  • Track critical IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, peripherals, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Generate accurate, detailed inventory reports for program leadership, technical teams, and mission stakeholders.
  • Research and resolve asset discrepancies, incomplete records, and accountability issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT asset-management activities and provide responsive, professional support to leadership, customers, and technical personnel.
  • Maintain organized and auditable documentation using approved asset-management systems, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and shared network drives.
  • Execute assigned responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training materials, security requirements, and property-accountability processes.
  • Ensure classified IT equipment is handled, stored, transferred, and disposed of in accordance with applicable security procedures.
  • Assist with the physical movement, loading, unloading, and organization of IT equipment and inventory.
  • Support continuous process improvement while maintaining the accuracy, security, and integrity of all asset records.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting IT asset management, warehouse operations, property accountability, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Experience using an enterprise IT asset-management system such as Remedy, ServiceNow, or a comparable platform.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to use Excel functions and features such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, and data reconciliation to manage large datasets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate inventory and accountability records.
  • Ability to perform extensive manual data entry accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage competing priorities, and complete responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with SCIF security procedures and the proper handling of classified IT equipment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, customers, technical teams, and mission partners in a high-security DoD environment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite at the Pentagon.
Preferred Qualifications

Strong candidates may also possess:

  • Direct experience working within the Pentagon, a military command center, or a comparable high-security DoD or Intelligence Community environment.
  • Experience managing large inventories of IT equipment and related infrastructure assets.
  • Experience supporting IT asset management within a classified environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint and shared network drives for documentation and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices.
  • Experience developing inventory reports, reconciling asset discrepancies, and supporting property audits.
  • Familiarity with DoD or Air Force property-accountability requirements and procedures.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000 to $73,000 annually. The final salary offered will be based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education, qualifications, specialized skills, security clearance, internal equity, and applicable contractual requirements.
