The role includes client leadership, practice building, and business development while ensuring resilient, cost‑effective asset management solutions.

Hybrid Work Model

Work is hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office three days a week. The position can be based in most U.S. locations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagement and account strategy for city, county, and regional utilities, shaping service roadmaps, risk registers, and lifecycle costing.
  • Direct asset management programs across the lifecycle—asset data, condition/RUL modeling, O&M optimization, CIP prioritization, resilience & climate adaptation, and performance management.
  • Oversee CMMS/EAM delivery (IBM Maximo, Infor, SAP, Cityworks), guiding requirements, configuration, data governance, and change management.
  • Grow and mentor a high‑performing team in IAM/GFMAM competencies and ISO‑aligned delivery methods; develop playbooks for risk‑based decision making.
  • Own pipeline creation and capture—lead solutioning, scoping, pricing, proposal development, and engagement with industry forums such as AWWA, WEF, and IAM.
  • Deliver consulting services, including data analysis, community of practice management, project content development, workshop facilitation, and project/program design.
  • Maintain personal capability through continuous professional development, external accreditations, and industry engagement.
  • Manage a portfolio of major projects following overall project management strategy.
  • Build and maintain key client and customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial/Systems Engineering (Master’s in engineering, asset management, data analytics, or public administration a plus).
  • Professional Engineer licensure required.
  • 10+ years in municipal water/wastewater asset management consulting with progressive responsibility leading programs and teams.
  • Proven success implementing risk/LoS/lifecycle frameworks and translating results into prioritized capital & O&M plans.
  • Hands‑on leadership with CMMS/EAM (Maximo, Infor, SAP PM, Cityworks) and integration with GIS/SCADA.
  • Experience in RCM, maintenance planning/scheduling, and reliability analytics.
  • Comfortable facilitating councils/boards and cross‑functional utility teams.
  • Willingness to travel 20‑40% as projects require.
Benefits
  • 401(k) – Eligible to participate after 3 months of service.
  • Paid time off – Starts at 16 days per year, increases with service.
  • Holiday pay – 9 holidays per year.
  • Wellness reimbursement – 50% of qualifying items up to $250 annually (health club, exercise equipment, fitness trackers, etc.).

Salary range: $147,000–$300,000 based on experience and location.
