A renowned global law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its asset management and financial regulatory practice. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge regulatory matters for investment managers and funds with global reach.

The position requires a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 3–7 years of related experience, with strong communication and analytical skills. Hybrid schedule in major U.S. markets is available.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3-7 years of substantive experience in financial services, investment management or securities law.
• Strong knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and/or the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
• Experience advising asset managers, investment funds, and financial services firms on regulatory matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise asset managers, investment advisers, broker-dealers, and funds on regulatory matters.
• Counsel clients on fund formation, registration, compliance, and ongoing obligations.
• Assist clients with regulatory examinations, investigations, and enforcement matters.
• Provide guidance on broker-dealer, commodities regulation and digital assets.
• Work with clients on cross-border regulatory issues affecting global asset management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic legal solutions.
