Northern Trust Corp. is offering a ten-week internship in Chicago focused on building quantitative and analytical skills. You will conduct empirical research, back-test strategies, and perform sustainability-related analyses while collaborating with project teams and presenting findings to leadership.

You will gain exposure to investment data, participate in workshops, and network with senior leaders and fellow interns in a dynamic global finance environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation Dec 2027 – Summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; 3.5 preferred.
• Demonstrated coding experience for data analysis and back-testing.
• Experience with AI toolsets for data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative empirical research.
• Perform back testing and risk assessment.
• Perform stewardship and sustainable investing research.
