Job summary

ARCHER is seeking a talented software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure, high-quality software for Asset Management research technology. You will work on production code, algorithms, and architecture artifacts in a large corporate environment from Jersey City.

You will apply data insights, use modern JavaScript/TypeScript with React, Kafka, and AWS, follow SDLC and agile practices, and contribute to secure coding and resilience in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Requires formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• At least three years of applied experience including system design, development, testing and operational support in a large corporate environment.
• Fluency in Java and experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven patterns.
• Responsible use of AI-assisted development tools with validation and security practices.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies with hands-on AWS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions for Asset Management Fundamental Research Technology, including production code and algorithms.
• Create architecture and design artifacts, using data insights to improve applications and systems.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure secure coding and operational readiness in a large corporate environment.
