JOB SUMMARY

The Asset Integrity Project Manager III supports ONEOK's Geohazards and Outside Forces program, helping protect system integrity from ground movement, hydrotechnical hazards, seismic activity, and wildfire exposure across the pipeline network. This role leads and coordinates projects spanning extreme weather event response, geohazard screening and analysis, and the planning and execution of field survey programs — including LiDAR acquisition, benchmark and settlement monitoring surveys, bathymetric surveys at waterway crossings, and erosion and scour assessments. A core function of the position is turning large, disparate datasets into decision‑grade information: building and maintaining the databases and data pipelines that house geohazard inventories, survey results, and monitoring histories; performing quantitative analysis of multi‑temporal survey, remote‑sensing, and environmental data to detect change and prioritize risk; and developing automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting that scale across the system. The role works closely with engineering, operations, and contracted survey firms to scope work, manage schedules and deliverables, and ensure the program maintains a defensible, auditable record of hazard identification and mitigation.

  • Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, geosciences, geography, data science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent applicable work experience — both paths are weighted equally — along with 3–7 years of relevant experience in pipeline integrity, geotechnical or hydrotechnical assessment, geospatial analysis, data science, or a comparable technical program.
  • Required skills include working proficiency with SQL and relational database design, and demonstrated ability to organize and analyze large spatial and time‑series datasets.
  • Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS) is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with survey data formats, point clouds, and elevation and remote‑sensing products such as satellite imagery or InSAR.
  • Scripting experience in Python or R, and practical experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, or AI‑assisted tooling to engineering or geospatial problems, are preferred.
  • Working knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195 and industry integrity practices is a plus.
  • The successful candidate will be an organized project leader who can drive multiple concurrent efforts to completion without direct reports, communicate technical findings clearly to both engineering and operations audiences, and respond promptly during severe weather, seismic, and wildfire events.

This is a primarily office‑based position with limited travel (less than 10%).

Technical knowledge in pipeline operations, construction, maintenance, welding, pipeline anomaly assessment methods, pipeline repair methods
