Job summary

INEOS USA LLC is looking for a Corrosion and Materials Engineer to serve as the technical authority in metallurgy and corrosion control. This role involves guiding material selection, leading inspections, and supporting major capital projects worth over $15B across multiple manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the petrochemical industry, with a strong background in welding engineering and damage mechanism management. INEOS offers hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in welding, materials, or corrosion engineering.
• Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms in hydrocarbon processing.
• Certified with API 510, 570, 579.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance on alloy selection and welding compatibility.
• Lead enterprise CUI inspection and mitigation strategy.
• Conduct damage mechanism reviews and maintain corrosion control documents.
