The role will coordinate design through startup within an Owner’s Representative/PM Contractor structure. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience delivering large-scale pharma, API, or life sciences capital projects in a cGMP environment, managing multiple contractors and ensuring safe, reliable delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead overall area delivery of the Small Molecule API facility.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, qualification, and operational-readiness activities.
• Integrate process, mechanical, piping, electrical, controls, HVAC, CSA, and supporting utility requirements.
• Manage interfaces among designers, contractors, equipment suppliers, adjacent facilities, and project stakeholders.
• Drive performance against safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost, risk, and key milestones.
• Identify design, construction, and interface risks and lead timely resolution and escalation.
• Coordinate equipment installation, utility connections, construction sequencing, system turnover, and commissioning readiness.
• Provide independent assessment of contractor progress and maintain clear accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Ensure project requirements and applicable technical standards are consistently incorporated throughout execution.

Asset Delivery Lead – Small Molecule

Huntsville, Alabama

We are seeking an experienced Asset Delivery Lead – Small Molecule to provide area-level project management and delivery leadership for the Small Molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) facility within a major pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Huntsville, Alabama. The Small Molecule API facility is a core component of the campus and will operate within a highly integrated network of utilities, logistics, storage, laboratory, and support infrastructure.

The Asset Delivery Lead will serve as the Area Project Manager, accountable for successful delivery of the Small Molecule API facility from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, qualification, startup, and handover. The role will operate within the Owner’s Representative/Project Management Contractor organization and coordinate activities across project management, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction/site management, commissioning and qualification, and permitting/AHJ coordination.

The successful candidate should have significant experience delivering large-scale pharmaceutical, API, chemical, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing capital projects. Experience with complex process facilities, cGMP environments, multidisciplinary engineering, construction management, and commissioning is strongly preferred.

This position requires a highly engaged project leader capable of coordinating complex technical interfaces, managing multiple contractors, and driving safe, predictable, high-quality delivery of a mission-critical pharmaceutical manufacturing asset.
