Job summary

Cleco is seeking a skilled Asset Management Data Analyst II in Louisiana to integrate plant operational and commercial data for insights that optimize generation asset performance. You will develop dashboards, analyze time series data from SCADA/IoT, and collaborate across departments to enhance asset health and maintenance decisions.

The role requires 3–8 years in data analytics/BI, strong SQL, and experience with Power BI/Tableau/Qlik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in data analytics or BI role preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with time series data from SCADA/IoT or other industrial sources.
• Experience in data integration and workflow optimization, combining operational and business datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in data visualization to create dashboards and reports.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data architecture is a plus.
• Experience with Azure data science and big data services (Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Azure Data Lake) or AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze operational and commercial data to identify trends and insights.
• Monitor and report on analytics and data management initiatives.
• Collaborate with plant teams to understand data needs and integrate time series with business data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to support performance and maintenance strategies.
• Model asset health metrics and KPIs for predictive maintenance.
• Support data quality initiatives for time series data accuracy and consistency.
• Design data workflows and pipelines for real‑time or near‑real‑time data availability.
• Coordinate with enterprise data teams for governance and architecture.
